Welcome to St Nicholas Bristol

Welcome to St Nicholas Bristol

In the city for the city.

Thanks for dropping by. We want to extend a warm welcome to you, regardless of your background or belief, in the hope that you will feel loved, accepted and at home at St Nicholas Bristol.

We're on an adventure, reopening a building that has been closed for over 60 years, with a big vision to bring hope to the heart of Bristol. St Nicholas has been the spiritual centre of Bristol since 1154, but we believe our best days are yet to come. We're passionately unashamed about encountering Jesus Christ, and following him from the heart of Bristol to the margins.

If all of this is new to you, or you'd just like to find out more, then we'd love to invite you to try our next Alpha - a series of free interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith - which starts soon.

And above all, please just come and say hello on a Sunday.

We really look forward to meeting you soon.

Get involved…

Our volunteer teams are involved in every aspect of the life of the church. From social transformation projects, playing in the worship band, serving coffee in the café, helping with kids, hosting our courses, volunteering in our offices and welcoming people on a Sunday, there are so many ways to play a part.

Check out some of the ways to be involved below.

St Nicholas Kids

St Nicholas Kids is our ministry for children aged 0-11.

Kids team will serve on Sunday Mornings at our 10:30 Service and together we will build a creative and exciting experience for every child on every Sunday, that is rooted in knowing more about Jesus and how we can live for him.

If you're interested in fun, laughter, creativity, and smaller people then we'd love to hear from you!

Interested in social transformation?

Our vision is to be a church that loves and serves the vulnerable of the city without an agenda.

We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about joining the social transformation team: to search out and care for the most needy in our city.
